Privacy
Your information, in plain language
What we collect
Pledge form: your name and email, plus your title and organization if you add them, whether you sign as an individual or for an organization, and whether you want to be listed publicly.
Contact and pilot forms: your name, email, organization (pilot form) and the message you send.
We also count anonymous visits and clicks (no names or emails) to see how many people read and sign the pledge.
Why we collect it
To keep an accurate record of who signed, to show the public ledger for people who opted in, and to reply to your messages and pilot requests. We do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
In our secure hosted database. Emails are kept in a separate private table that the website itself cannot read; only our server and the admin can.
Who sees it
Only the Sparki admin sees your email and private messages. New signatures are reviewed by the admin before they appear publicly.
If you chose to be listed: your name, title, organization, signing type and date appear on the public ledger. Your email is never published, never shown on the site, and never sold or shared.
The public ledger is kept out of search engines.
How long we keep it
Signatures are kept for as long as the pledge is running, or until you ask us to remove them. Contact and pilot messages are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
How to request deletion
Email us from the address you used and ask us to remove your signature or message. No reason needed. We aim to delete it within 30 days and will confirm when it is done.
